Donations to support our work would be extremely welcome. They will be used to
help communities to restore degraded lands and to improve the incomes they earn
from their farm and forest products. For example,
£10 will pay for 5 seedlings of an quick maturing variety of the shea tree,
to increase women’s production of shea butter
£25 will pay for a woman shea butter producer to visit a group of more experienced
women entrepreneurs to learn new skills directly from them and gain more confidence
in herself
£50 will pay for a local “regreening” champion to travel around villages
for one month on a motor bike promoting protection of natural regeneration
£100 will pay for training for 45 village tree product entrepreneurs in
how to obtain loans from microfinance institutions

Please note: you will see that donations are made to
Mali Development Group (MDG) who, as partners,
kindly assist in the handling funds. This helps to reduce processing time and costs.
